What you'll do:

  • To provide professional consultancy services for pilot production and process scale-up in the medical device and healthcare equipment industries.
  • To undertake medical device & healthcare equipment development based on relevant regulatory and standard protocol from product design, simulation, risk assessment, prototyping, verification & validation, testing & certification, clinical trial and pilot run along the product development process  
  • To execute technology projects and industry-wide enhancement projects for enterprises, industry associations, engineering societies and/or government departments
  • To partner with local and overseas R&D Centre and Universities for accelerating technology transfer, development and commercialisation
  • To undertake technology promotion, demonstration and commercialisation activities for creating industry awareness, business pitching and accelerating adoption
  • Travel to the Mainland and Overseas for undertaking business activities and service delivery is needed
  • To perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering disciplines related to Biomedical, Biotechnology, or equivalent. A higher degree with relevant research areas would be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in conducting applied research & development, product development, and manufacturing for biomedical, life & health, or related industries
  • Proven experience in facility setup for PIC/GMP, GMP, ISO 13485 & ISO 22000, e.g., PW and CDA system
  • Hands on experience on documentation for QMS, e.g., URS, I/O/PQ, Process Validation, Cleaning Validation
  • Hands-on experience in new product development, Computer Aided Design & Engineering (CAD&E) & 3D modelling, prototyping, testing & certification, pilot run, etc.
  • Expertise in international or national regulatory requirements, standards, quality systems, pre-market approval, etc.
  • Strong commitment with a positive and results-oriented attitude and mindset; sensitive and fast adoption of new emerging technologies; strong business and financial accountability & ownership; excellent interpersonal, time & project management, and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure and independently; excellent presentation skills, etc.
