Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Support implementation of government-funded project in the field of AI & Sensing Theory
  • Shoulder the responsibility for the development and optimization of the AI/Robotics algorithms of some of the above fields
  • Carry out R&D tasks against the plans and complete the project works (R&D work, technical report/paper, patents, etc.)
  • May need to travel outside Hong Kong when required 
  • Support ad hoc assignments if necessary

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Master degree from disciplines such as in Robotics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Intelligent Systems or equivalent from a local university or world top 100 university
  • Working experience in R&D, government projects or patent applications preferred
  • Having rich experience in robotics and programming preferred
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of  English or Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua)

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
