Technical Officer, Smart Manufacturing Process

Job Description

What you'll do: 

  • Undertake R&D works for Smart Machinery / Factory Development from idea generation, system design, prototype fabrication, to conducting end-user training

  • Prepare technical document of R&D works covering tech area of Process digitization, 3D CAD/CAM Tech, Robotics, Automation, Machine Control, 3D Printing, etc.

  • Responsible for project scheduling and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery and completion of projects

  • Organize technology dissemination events including seminar, conference, training overseas missions to promote new technology and developed application

  • Travel to Mainland China or overseas occasionally for on-site study and project implementation

  • Support ad hoc assignments if necessary

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor Degree from disciplines such as Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Control & Programming, Textile & Apparel or equivalent with at least 2-year experience
  • Experience in conduct R&D project especially ITF project an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer
  • Good command of English, Cantonese or Putonghua
