Job Description

What you'll do:
- To assist with the planning, execution, and management of R&D projects on new materials, smart manufacturing and technological consulting for the high-value consumer goods industry (e.g. giftware, pet, food, fabrics, toys etc.).
- To support the research of government funding opportunities and prepare persuasive proposals for technology development, promotion, transfer, and dissemination.
- To assist in organising technical seminars/conference, trainings (both local and overseas), and exhibitions to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology; and to facilitate communication with external customers (industry associations, government officers, individual clients, etc.).
- To provide administration support with internal parties (procurement, HR, corporate development, etc.) in project coordination and administration such as budget planning, operation, implementation, preparing reports.
- Occasional travel to Chinese Mainland and overseas for project implementation and new technology study may be needed.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor degree or above in engineering, product engineering, food science, chemistry, material or other related discipline
- At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in technology development, dissemination and promotion.
- Experience in R&D centers, smart manufacturing sectors or familiar in government funding schemes application (e.g. NIFS, TSF, ITF) will be an advantage.
- Experience in event management (e.g. organizing exhibitions, trainings, or seminars) ; and knowledge in product/material technology development for lifestyle product and high-valued product would be an advantage.
- Good presentation, communication, interpersonal skills; project management and time management skills.
- Good command of English and Chinese.
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
- Knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; knowledge in ERP(SAP) management and would be an advantage.
