Job Description

What you'll do: 

  • To support prospection and implementation of technology consultancies and R&D projects on advanced material for consumer product industry (e.g. giftware, fashion, pet, sport, 3Cs, etc.).

  • To assist in the formulation of government proposals for technology development, promotion, transfer, & dissemination, and implementation of such government projects.

  • To support organizing technical seminars, trainings (local/overseas),  exhibitions for technology dissemination and knowledge transfer.

  • To support communication with external customers (industry specific associations, government officers, individual clients, etc.) and internal parties (procurement, HR, corporate development, etc.).

  • To support ad hoc assignments when required.

  • Occasional travel to Mainland and overseas may be required for project implementation and new technology study.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are: 

  • Bachelor degree or above  in engineering, fashion, science, material, or other related discipline.

  • At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in technology development and dissemination.

  • Experience in project proposal preparation & implementation for government funding is a plus.

  • Experience in organizing exhibitions, training, or seminars; and knowledge in material technology development for fashion and high-valued product would be an advantage.

  • Good presentation, communication, interpersonal skills; project management and time management skills.

  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

  • Knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; knowledge in ERP(SAP) management would be an advantage.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
