Job Description

What you'll do:
- Team Leadership and Project Development
- Inspire and lead a small, agile team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment to advance corporate initiatives and position HKPC as a thought leader and innovation hub.
- Drive HKPC’s development and growth by executing a range of corporate engagement activities that align with its strategic mission.
- Event and Project Management
- Develop and execute a long-term event strategy aligned with organisational goals, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality programmes.
- Manage end-to-end execution of corporate flagship projects, including tech and services exhibitions, thought-leadership conferences, success cases promotions, and networking/ceremonial events, from concept and planning to delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful, industry-wide initiatives that meet performance objectives.
- Leverage expertise in managing complex projects, timelines, and resources, while exploring innovative formats, technologies, and engagement strategies to maximise event outcomes.
- Spearheaded digital transformation of the Project Satisfaction Poll to automate monthly customer satisfaction reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement

- Proactively engage with key HKPC stakeholders to understand and address their needs, and collaborate across business divisions to identify and enhance support opportunities.
- Build and strengthen strategic networks with local, GBA, and global organisations to advance HKPC’s visibility, partnerships, and thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A highly experienced event professional with a minimum of 10 years in corporate events, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to apply analytical and creative thinking to overcome challenges and adapt to unexpected changes during event execution.
- Established network and relationships with government departments, industry players, trade associations, professional institutes, and public organisations.
- Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
