Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Lead projects in AI, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Electronics, Medical to meet clients and Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) requirements.
  • Formulate and execute R&D strategies, leading team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Deliver projects successfully with excellent project management skills, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence with company standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and the community
  • Collaborate with other divisions and government departments to ensure successful application and implementation of programs
  • Travel occasionally to mainland China or other countries to carry out projects

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are any of below:

  • Doctoral Degree holder in Computer Science, Biomedical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related disciplines
  • 8 or more years of working or research experience in High Performance Computing (HPC), Digital Signal Processing, IoT Communication Technologies, Big Data Analytics, Sensor Technologies, AI, Robotics and Automation
  • Experience in AI product development, government projects and patent applications
  • Experience in AI, Science, Technology or Engineering startups is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in at least TWO of the following expertise:
    • Keras, Tensorflow, Caffe, PyTorch, cuDNN, TensorRT, CUDA, MLX
    • Robotic, ROS, SLAM, ARKit, OpenCV, Point cloud data processing
    • VLM/LLM and NLP deployment
    • AlphaFold2/3, RNA-FM, and structural biology tools (PDB, Rosetta)
    • System and Software development (in C/C++, Python or Java, etc.)
    • Computing infrastructure, cloud computing and/or computing clusters
    • Background in mechanical/electrical/electronic design, CAD, simulation tools
  • Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
