Job Description

What you'll do:
- Identify new business opportunities for innovation in intelligent manufacturing with Robotics, Embodied AI, and emerging technologies, and develop strategies to bring these new technologies to market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and the community

Manage the entire process of client engagement, from identifying potential clients and analyzing their needs to proposing solutions and executing agreements

Formulate and execute R&D strategies, leading team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Deliver projects successfully with excellent project management skills, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence with company standards

Collaborate with other divisions and government departments to ensure successful application and implementation of programs

Travel occasionally to mainland China or other countries to carry out projects
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Robotics, Computer Science and Engineering, or a relevant field
- 8 or more years of working or research experience in Automation, AI, Robotics, or related solutions
- Strong project management skills, with experience in government-funded projects being an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Extensive industry or academic networks and resources
- Strong experience in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
