Job Description

What you'll do:   

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and drive the AI Health vision, roadmap, and execution plans aligned with business goals in the HK environment.
• Identify and prioritize emerging opportunities in AI with strong user and business impact, focusing on rapid execution and commercialization.
• Conduct R&D in the design, development, and evaluation of AI models/methodologies for Healthcare (e.g., digital health tech, medical devices) with analysis on regulations for Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Medicine (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, ISO 13485).
• Identify, secure, and manage government-funded R&D projects proposals (e.g., ITF), driving revenue and building up the mass.
• Engage with R&D partners (universities, tech suppliers, clients) and represent the company at commercialization events (seminars, conferences, exhibitions).
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and consultants on AI initiatives, with opportunities to lead projects as capabilities are demonstrated.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Bioscience, Medicine, Medical Engineering, or a related discipline. PhD holders strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in related areas.
• Proven track record in securing government-funded R&D projects (e.g., ITF)
• Experience in hospital, medical, or diagnostic R&D/consultancy, with a focus on AI/healthcare intersections (e.g., digital health, medical devices).
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, IVD-R, IEC 62304) – familiarity with HK/Asia markets is a plus.
• Strong technical and strategic acumen to translate research into commercially viable solutions.
• Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and stakeholder management skills.
