What you'll do:

  • Deliver HKCERT operational services, including security incident response, security monitoring, early warning services, and handling hotline enquiries (as shift duty) for Internet users and local enterprises
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver HKCERT services and support incident handling
  • Plan and deliver cyber security programmes and initiatives, and support the provisioning and continuous improvement of HKCERT services
  • Promote cyber security awareness across different sectors through seminars, talks, and trainings
  • Administer and support HKCERT infrastructure, and develop automation tools to enhance HKCERT operations and service delivery
  • Conduct research and publish reports on emerging security threats, attack techniques, and defence trends
  • Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related disciplines
  • 4 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with less experience but passionate about cyber security and showing potential in security research are also welcome; professional training opportunities will be provided.
  • Solid experience in system, network and/or security infrastructure management and programming
  • Certification in information security, such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, etc. is an advantage but not a must
  • Mature, self-motivated and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and adapt to technology changes
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; able to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; good command of English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred. Hands-on experience in AI model training and workflow automation is an advantage.
