Job Description

What you'll do:
- Work with team members of HKCERT and cyber security service team closely
- Handle HKCERT operations such as monitor of security threats, provide advice on incident response, publish security alert, etc.
- Conduct research and publish report on emerging security threat and defense trends, specializing in IoT, mobile, cloud, application security or threat intelligence
- Develop automation tools to facilitate HKCERT operations and service
- Provide technical support to internal system
- Provide awareness talks or technical training
- Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Security related disciplines with over 2 years of relevant working experience, Candidates with less experience but passionate in cyber security and showing potential in security research are also welcome; Professional training opportunities will be provided
- Experience in conducting research with output in information security areas (such as mobile, cloud, IoT, secure development, threat intelligence, data analytics)
- Experience in computer programmings skills such as Python, NodeJS, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
- Hands-on experience in Splunk, Elastic stack, honeypot, MISP, dark web monitoring and other advanced tools is an advantage
- Certification in information security or offensive security, e.g. CEH, OSCP, GIAC - GXPN, GPEN, GWAPT, etc.is an advantage but not a must
- Good command of English and Chinese, Putonghua, Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
