Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Participate and lead system design and development for new energy relevant projects, such as hydrogen fuel cell, methanol or ammonia

  • Study project/product engineering specifications. Work with clients and/or team members to perform analysis and design the system in achieving the specification goals

  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements and technical details, evaluate and propose technology solutions that meet the client's brief and budget

  • Liaise with technical partners or suppliers for solutions

  • Perform tests of R&D/engineering systems and problem troubleshooting, enhance the product performance in meeting specifications and/or client requirements

  • Travel to China or overseas for on-site project work and support as required

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor or above Degree in Electric Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Engineering related discipline

  • Good knowledge of architecture of new energy vehicle, powertrain control strategy and charging controls

  • At least 3 years or above working experience in new enegy product development relevant project

  • Work as a lead in with good interpersonal skill and deliver quality work on time

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrate result-oriented and CAN-DO attitude

  • Good command of English

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
