Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Support implementation of government-funded project in the field of humanoid robotics and dexterous hand.
  • Study the technology trends and applications in fields including dexterous hand application, humanoid robot, robot control and manipulation, advanced sensing, AI, etc.
  • Shoulder the responsibility for the development and optimization of both hardware and software in the above fields.
  • Assist the project team to carry out R&D tasks against the plans and complete the project works (R&D work, technical report/paper, patent, etc.).
  • May need to travel outside Hong Kong when required.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks when necessary. 

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Doctoral degree from disciplines such as Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Intelligent System Engineering or equivalent from a local university or world top 100 university.
  • R&D experience in the field of robotics, especially dexterous hand development, is highly preferred.
  • Experience in proposal initiation, report/paper draft and patent application.
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure.
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
