Job Description

What you'll do:
- Implement government-funded R&D projects focused on advanced thermal management technologies, including development of thermal storage materials and design of thermal management systems.
- Design, develop, and evaluate R&D projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct desktop research related to the aforementioned R&D areas.
- Prepare project proposals, detailed technical documents, and progress reports.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as required to address project needs and challenges.
- Engage with R&D partners (including universities, tech suppliers, clients, and end-users) and organize technology commercialization events (such as training sessions, seminars, conferences, and exhibitions) both locally and overseas.
- Occasionally travel to Chinese Mainland and overseas for project implementation and to study new technologies.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- A Doctoral degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related science and engineering disciplines from a top 100 university.
- Knowledge and skills in any of the following areas:

- Synthesis of emulsions or encapsulated particles through in-situ or interfacial polymerization;
- Processing, blending, and modification of polymer materials;
- Analytical methods for polymer and colloid chemistry study (e.g., HT-GPC, DSC/TGA, DLS, Rheology etc.);
- Materials applicable to thermal storage and/or management systems;
- Proficiency in data analysis methods and data visualization tools;
- Knowledge about CFD and heat transfer will be a plus;
- Preferred experience in technology research and development.
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
- A good command of English, particularly in proposal and report writing.
