Job Description

What you'll do:
- Assist in preparing and conducting training sessions on 3D printing and laser cutting.
- Assist the team in planning, organising, and executing a variety of training sessions, workshops, events, exhibitions, and visits. Responsibilities include logistics coordination, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.
- Preparation of promotional materials and creative relevant content.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and managing internal systems to ensure smooth execution.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Student currently pursuing a Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in STEAM, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- Have good knowledge and experience in the operating 3D printers, laser engraver / cutter. Experience in CNC equipment is a plus.
- Experience working at a Maker Space or STEM Lab will be an advantage.
- Customer-focused with strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Well-organised, energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently while working under pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in 3D design software (eg. Keyshot, Fusion 360, Solidworks, etc) and 2D design software (eg. Illustrator, Corel, etc) , AI tools and generative AI skills.
- Working with a safety mindset.
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
Note:
- Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.
- This is a position of Part-time internship programme of 6 months,working for 8-16 hours per week subject to work arrangement.
