Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical support for a wide range of wastewater related R&D projects
  • Responsible for field sampling and data analysis, pilot system design and installation supervision
  • Responsible for the operation of pilot system on-site
  • Conduct laboratory analysis, develop processes at the lab scale, and implement pilot studies on-site
  • Handle enquiries and maintain contact with clients and contractors
  • Travel to Chinese Mainland or South East Asia occasionally to perform duties
  • Support ad-hoc projects as assigned

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor Degree holder from disciplines such as chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental management, environmental science, environmental engineering
  • Fresh graduates with working experience in water and wastewater process development project are encouraged to apply
  • Good technical experience in instrument selection and chemical procurement and logistics arrangements from mainland
  • Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred 
  • Good command of English

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
