Job Description

What you'll do:

Prepare financial statements for Government funded projects and secretariat funds in accordance with Funding Guidelines and ensure on-time and accurate submission of audit accounts

Liaise with external auditor and coordinate with project managers on progress reports and project audits

Ensure bookkeeping and adjustments are performed according to Hong Kong Accounting Standard and Funding Guidelines,
-
Ensure proper filing of records and monthly bank reconciliations are duly completed
-
Assist supervisors in month end closing and prepare monthly balance sheet schedules with items cleared on a timely basis, also support funidng disbursement of secretariat projects on an ad hoc basis

Handle ad hoc projects and assignments when required
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
-
Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines with 1-2 years of experience in financial accounting and/or auditing; Straight audit background candidates are also welcome

Experience in Government Funding Scheme reporting an advantage

Attentive to details and proactive with strong initiation

Hands-on experience on SAP, Proficient in MS Office applications

Good communication and presentation skills
