Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Handle End-to-End procurement management on purchase categories/projects assigned
  • Support supervisor to define purchase requirements with internal clients/users
  • Conduct supplier due diligence
  • Procurement partner for categories/projects assigned including but not limited to supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, due diligence checks, award preparation, performance monitoring and risk mitigation
  • Procurement partner for internal clients/users for supply recommendation and facilitating compliance with corporate policies
  • Assist supervisor in preparing reports and analysis, to perform any projects/duties as assigned

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree from any disciplines preferably in Supply Chain Management / Computer Science / Engineering / Science
  • Over 3 years relevant working experience is preferred
  • High integrity, a good understanding of corporate governance and compliance are required
  • Experience in using SAP Materials Management Module is preferred
  • Can-do attitude, team player and willing to learn
  • Good command of English and Chinese 
  • Business travel is required

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the position when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
