Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Support the establishment of a new IP centre, including but not limited to administrative tasks, research, procurement and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop marketing materials and implement promotion activities to promote the new IP centre’s services to key stakeholders
  • Support event logistics and content development for promotional activities
  • Provide support in curating and acquiring relevant IP and I&T content for the IP centre’s website
  • Support the Intellectual Property Services Centre’s digitisation initiatives
  • Support the implementation of an IP related Government funding programme, that encourages local companies and inventors to protect their inventions through patent registration
  • Handle enquiries, liaise with client and stakeholders and documenting actions

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, translation, science, information management, business, public administration, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years' full time working experience
  • Interested in IP protection works for technology-related inventions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of English, Putonghua and Cantonese
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months and subject to renewal.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
