Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support, including but not limited to assistance with the logistics arrangement for Council Members to attend HKPC-related business functions, report preparation, expense reporting, email management, and coordination with relevant parties 
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Council Secretariat, including but not limited to logistics planning and arrangement, internal vetting, safety management, record-keeping and reporting
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing appointments, meetings, and functions; and support ad hoc projects and assignments as required
  • Prepare correspondence and materials for meetings, and undertake follow-up actions
  • Maintain the filing and contact record of the Council Secretariat  to ensure efficient information retrieval

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for Business Administration or language disciplines
  • Three years or more solid experience in secretarial and administrative duties
  • Substantial experience in supporting management executives and division operations preferred
  • Strong sense of accountability and sensitivity to confidentiality of information and office matters, Proficiency in MS office
  • Good planning and organization skills, and able to work under pressure
  • Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
