Job Description

What you'll do:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape, and generate insightful reports and analysis
- Assist in planning and executing events and exhibitions, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site support
- Collaborate with different divisions within the company to understand their event requirements and provide support tailored to their needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as event venues, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing efforts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the marketing team remains innovative and competitive
- Support the team in various administrative tasks, including budget management, scheduling, and document preparation
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years’ proven experience in event management, preferably within a marketing or related field
- Well organised, energetic, detail-minded and able to work under pressure and handle a variety of assignments independently
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to generate market reports and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively
- Proficient in using marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and project management tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Creative thinker with the ability to propose innovative solutions and ideas
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
