Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Provide administrative support to a funding scheme related to Chinese Medicine development in Hong Kong;
  • Assist in the initial assessment of the funding applications and disbursements;
  • Support on-site checking of funded projects in Hong Kong;
  • Provide secretarial support to the Advisory Committee, including preparation of agenda, papers, minutes and other relevant documents;
  • Handle administrative work and enquiries, prepare data analysis and statistical reports, and support marketing activities and new projects as assigned.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Accounting / Public Administration / Information Management or related discipline;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing government funding schemes and/or handling government-funded projects preferred
  • Knowledge of Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Medicine industry or/and related research is a definite advantage
  • Mature, self-motivated, flexible, able to work independently and meet challenging deadlines
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
