What you will do :

Seeking a dynamic Manager to join our research team, focusing on developing strategic research projects, expanding collaboration opportunities, and advancing data analytics capabilities.

Play a key role in driving research initiatives with government bodies, quangos, and industry associations, while actively exploring new opportunities in GBA. Additionally, the Manager will develop business intelligence services for small to medium enterprises (SMEs), providing actionable insights through data analytics.

 

  • Research and Survey Projects: Lead and manage research projects with key clients from government sectors, quangos, and industry associations. Develop customized research frameworks and methodologies to address client needs.  
  • Industry Studies and Collaboration: Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations for joint research projects. Identify emerging technology trends and opportunities in various industries to inform future studies.  
  • GBA Research Opportunities: Explore and initiate potential research collaborations within the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Identify research themes and topics relevant to GBA development and cross-border collaboration.  
  • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Development: Lead the development of data analytics services to generate business insights for SMEs. Identify the key enablers on data collection, processing, and visualization for the business intelligence solutions.  
  • Client Outreach: Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential clients from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.  Develop client proposals and presentations, aligning research offerings with stakeholder needs. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are executed efficiently.  
  • Helping organizations and SMEs harness data and insights to achieve their goals, expand our stakeholder network, and contribute to the development of the GBA.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.   
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in research, preferably with exposure to government or industry sectors.  
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, business development, or client relationship management.  
  • Familiarity with GBA market dynamics and policy development is an advantage.  
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying new research and business opportunities.
