Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement comprehensive STEAM project strategies and action plans, including organizing regular events, activities, boot camps, and workshops.
  • Initiate and collaborate with government departments, universities, secondary schools, primary schools, industry associations, and professional bodies to forge partnerships on STEAM initiatives.
  • Propose and execute government-funded STEAM programs, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and community needs.
  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities for STEAM projects, enhancing funding and resources available for initiatives.
  • Lead and supervise a dedicated team to deliver high-quality STEAM activities, employing effective marketing strategies to engage the target audience.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with members, partners, and schools to build a robust network and bolster HKPC Academy’s reputation as the leading EdTech Hub.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as assigned.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines such as Business Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Social Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in handling community or education projects, of which 2 years in supervisory level, preferably with a background in STEAM education, school engagement initiatives, etc.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience working in publishing companies and EdTech firms is an advantage.
  • A passion for education, youth development, and support for startups will be considered an advantage.
  • Candidates who can demonstrateknowledge of AI, or experience andability to apply Generative AI tools intheir work, will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal.
