Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Handle a portfolio of corporate secretarial matters
  • Provide secretarial support to ensure smooth operation of Council and Standing Committee meetings
  • Serve as interface with Council Members and government departments
  • Liaise with divisions for key performance monitoring and funding application submission, and compile data for analysis and presentation
  • Handle external enquiries and prepare correspondence in English and Chinese and conduct research on government policies and topical issues
  • Support ad hoc projects and assignments and undertake other administrative duties when required

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above from Public Administration, English Language, Translation or equivalent
  • 4 years or more experience in council secretariat duties from government or public organizations preferred
  • Proven experience in handling writing assignments and editing papers and reports
  • Excellent command of English, and Cantonese or Putonghua
