What you'll do : 

 

Project Management:

  • Participate in the planning and execution of cybersecurity projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Assist in implementing project management methodologies for efficient project delivery.
  • Engage in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

 

Business Analysis:

  • Contribute to the analysis of business processes and cybersecurity needs.
  • Support in developing cybersecurity solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Cybersecurity Exposure:

  • Gain exposure to various cybersecurity aspects such as IoT, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and data governance.
  • Explore emerging technologies and their application in cybersecurity.

 

Standards and Compliance:

  • Learn about and assist in ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards like GDPR, ISO, NIST, etc.
  • Help in maintaining documentation for cybersecurity policies and procedures.

 

Innovation and Learning:

  • Engage with advanced technologies like OpenAI, ChatGPT, and other AI applications.
  • Participate in continuous learning and improvement initiatives in cybersecurity.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are

  • Students of tertiary institution in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, especially in areas like application development, cloud infrastructure, and other emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge or interest in cybersecurity standards and frameworks is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

2. This is a position of Part-time internship programme of 9 months.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
