Head, Talent Management

Human Resources and Facility Management Division

Job Duties:


  • Assist CPO to develop and implement a holistic and integrated long-term talent management strategy to drive organizational capabilities and enhance the people competency level to support business growth
  • Plan and execute various regional talent exchange and development projects to nurture a new generation of innovation and technology talent
  • Design and develop effective talent development programmes to groom identified talent groups for future leadership roles
  • Assess the talent gaps and develop high-impact talent management programs to build bench-strength and a sustainable talent pipeline
  • Coordinate with HRBPs in talent identification and review, training and development, and succession management
  • Design and implement the career development plans for key internal talents to facilitate their career planning and development
  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to follow up on the training needs and development progress of the identified talents
  • Manage end-to-end training and development process, including training needs analysis, training plans, designing program curriculum, training delivery and evaluation
  • Enhance HKPC’s employer branding through different talent development and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Proactively research on organizational analytics to provide CPO with workforce insights that can help formulate data-driven recommendations to support talent initiatives
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve and align supporting systems including TMS and LMS, and create and implement an integrated approach to talent management


Job Requirements:


  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, preferably with professional qualifications in Human Resources or related disciplines
  • 15 years or more working experience in which minimum 8 years relevant and hands-on experience in people development, talent management, organization development, change management and HR compliance projects / initiatives. Experience in leading system development and deployment of TMS / LMS will be added advantage
  • Ability to think strategically and develop tactical action plans to achieve business and people goals
  • Possess effective communication and influencing skills on stakeholders across all levels, and the passion to serve as a change advocate to drive innovation and entrepreneurship for employee learning and growth
  • Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated and ability to deal with multiple projects efficiently
  • Have proven experience in building employer branding and corporate culture
  • Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset, excellent ability to work under pressure, work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate business acumen, and ability to stay abreast of HR analytics and organizational knowledge
  • Strong professional network with universities and professional organizations is preferred
  • Good command of English and Chinese
