Job Description

What you'll do:

 

  • Identify market demands on intelligent applications using innovative and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twin, robotics, automation, IIOT, advanced composite processing, etc.  Determine and prioritize potential service offerings which can be deployed by the Council for the benefits of Hong Kong industries.
  • Formulate, drive and execute the strategies on innovative solutions with appropriate technologies and systems in line with the mission and goals of HKPC and the Division. Develop relevant business offering portfolio and roadmap for sustainable business development.
  • Provide professional technical solutions to assist the clients, including associations and enterprises, to upgrade their business, service and production operations through the application of innovative and advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, digital twin, robotics, automation, IIOT, advanced composite processing, etc.,
  • Lead the team to identify and acquire consultancy projects from private companies or government bodies. Develop government funding proposals including but not limited to Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF), New Industrialisation Funding Scheme (NIFS), Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund (TSF), General Support Fund (GSP), etc.
  • Lead the team to successfully implement projects within schedule and budget and meet all financial and non-financial key performance indicators
  • Familiar with HK foundation industries and related trade associations. Able to build network and establish cooperation with the key players.
  • Travel to the Mainland China or overseas to carry out projects

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

 

  • Bachelor Degree or above from engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Intelligent System, System Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 years' or more working experience, and at least 4 years' experience in management positions
  • Proven track records in technical solution development, innovation development, or business development
  • Rich experience in execution and management of complex projects involving applications development, technical promotion, client management, events planning and management, etc.
  • Good relationship with industries and associations
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, presentation, communication, and teamwork
  • Innovative thinking, mature, self-motivated, can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, willing to take up challenges
