Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Lead procurement operation of the HKPC Group in Hong Kong and Mainland providing overall management of the centralized procurement function to deliver end to end services including sourcing, tendering/ quotation process, negotiation and contract award
  • Act as a controller to drive controllership in business practice. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, corporate governance and regulatory requirements
  • Build and deliver procurement best practice, achieve procurement KPI and sourcing deflation to contribute to the financial sustainability of HKPC
  • Act as strategic business partner of the business operations to provide cost effective and timely solutions to address procurement needs, actively connect to ecosystem partners, vendors and engage counterparts and stakeholders proactively to provide valuable input in business requirement, vendor specification and decision process
  • Enhance and monitor supplier management system, including rationalization of the corporate supplier database and implementation of supplier performance management to build a robust supplier network
  • Champion of the material management module of the next Generation ERP implementation exercise and develop process simplification initiatives to improve efficiency of the team
  • Oversee general insurance procurement and coordinate with insurance brokers to support the insurance needs of HKPC
  • Support other projects / assignments as determined by the management.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Degree or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • 15 years or more relevant experience including business process compliance gained from sizeable corporations and/ or public organisations, and playing the role of team leads
  • Proficiency in SAP system, in particular material management module preferred
  • Meticulous, attention to detail
  • Excellent influencing, problem solving, communication and team management skills
