The Head, Cybersecurity and AI Governance will lead both HKCERT and HKPC's cybersecurity, AI governance and digital trust practice, driving strategy, market leadership, business growth and service excellence to advance the secure, trusted and responsible adoption of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in Hong Kong.
What you'll do:
- Lead HKPC's cybersecurity, AI governance and digital trust strategy, identifying emerging opportunities, technology trends, AI-driven innovations and regulatory developments, and translating them into sustainable services and organisational capabilities.
- Lead the development, commercialisation and quality assurance of cybersecurity, AI governance, AI security and digital trust services. Drive innovation, business development and portfolio growth to address evolving market, regulatory and technology needs.
- Advance HKPC and HKCERT's leadership position in cybersecurity, AI governance and digital trust. Develop strategic partnerships with government agencies, regulators, industry associations, academia and technology providers. Represent HKPC and HKCERT in industry forums, policy initiatives and regional collaborations, while championing secure, trusted and responsible AI adoption across industries in Hong Kong.
- Provide strategic oversight of HKCERT, ensuring effective operations, stakeholder engagement, cyber resilience initiatives, threat intelligence collaboration and industry impact in response to evolving cyber threats and emerging technologies.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, building capabilities in AI security, responsible AI, post-quantum cryptography (PQC), AI risk management and AI-enabled cyber defence while fostering innovation and professional excellence.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Degree in computer science, information security, AI, data science, engineering, information systems or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification or substantial equivalent experience would be advantageous.
- Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, digital risk, AI governance, technology consulting or related fields, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Senior-level experience leading cybersecurity, digital risk, AI governance, technology advisory, professional services or related portfolios.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying emerging opportunities and translating market, technology and threat developments into strategies, service roadmaps, business cases and executable action plans.
- Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, responsible AI, AI and LLM security, data governance, privacy, enterprise and cloud security, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001 or ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor /Lead Implementer, CEH, or AI governance / risk credentials would be advantageous.
- Learning agility, integrity, adaptability, innovation and the ability to lead responsibly amid evolving cybersecurity and AI risks; knowledge of NIST AI RMF would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder leadership, business development, client engagement, negotiation, presentation, portfolio management and team development skills.
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred.
