What you'll do:

We are seeking a Unit Head for Advanced Industries to lead a team in providing technical consultancy services to advanced industries such as semiconductor, life and bio science, advanced medical equipment, robotics, new energy, new materials and more.  The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and prior experience in one or more of these industries.

• Lead and manage a team of technical consultants to deliver high-quality technical consultancy services to clients in advanced industries in Hong Kong, Mainland, or overseas.
• Provide expertise and guidance on manufacturing processes in industries such as semiconductor, life and bio science, advanced medical equipment, robotics, new energy, new materials, etc.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, identify areas for improvements and develop and implement customized solutions to optimize their manufacturing processes or set up new manufacturing lines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements relevant to advanced industries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring successful completion of all projects within the agreed-upon parameters.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to the growth of the division and HKPC.
• Execute ad-hoc projects or tasks to support the growth of the division or HKPC.

You’ll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, materials science, etc.).  A higher degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in one or more of the advanced industries mentioned (semiconductor, life and bio science, advanced medical equipment, robotics, new energy, new materials, etc.).
• Good knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and industry best practices in advanced industries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation, capable of identifying and addressing complex technical challenges.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry advancements.
• Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry conferences or events
