Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Participate in and assist to implement environmental-related consultancy projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China related to Air Pollution Control

  • Provide support for Cleaner Production Partnership Program, IAQ Certification Scheme and other environmental-related programs

  • Perform ambient air monitoring, IAQ assessment & measurement, VOC market survey, odour assessment & monitoring, stack emission measurement and so on

  • Prepare test reports, technical proposals and other relevant project documents to clients in a professional manner

  • Support in research and development of new technologies / services

  • Travel to Mainland China (Mainly PRD region) occasionally to perform duties if necessary

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor Degree from Science / Environmental Management / Chemistry Engineering or equivalent

  • At least 1 years’ working experience in air pollution control / air quality measurement and monitoring preferable

  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua

 

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a temporary position for a period of 12 months.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
