Project Officer, Smart Electronics

Job Duties:

  • Support on the implementation of research & development, marketing and commercialization for projects related to the Internet-of-Things of Smart City, Aviation, Robots, Health Care, Buildings and Transportation
  • Facilitate project communications, arrangements and appointments
  • Support on technical and/or business development
  • Participate in the promotional activities and the training related to the projects such as study missions, workshops, technical seminars, capability building and exhibition etc
  • Assist in research on new technologies and digital strategies trend
  • Assist in project management and administration such as client relationship management, suppliers management, resource planning and project execution etc
  • Assist in providing design idea, preparing proposal, report and conducting robust presentation

 
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates with working experience are encouraged
  • With interest to explore new products, new technologies and new digital trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong client-driven mindset, comfortable with people interaction
  • Experience in liaising with government bodies, international enterprises, industry associations professional bodies or with international exposure is a plus
  • Positive thinking, proactive, fast-learner and innovative
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua with knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus

Note:
This is a position funded by the Research Talent Hub Programme under the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) to conduct R&D project from March 2021 to September 2022.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
