Job Description

What you'll do:
- Analyse business, user and technical requirements, define suitable end-to-end solutions, and prepare clear architecture and project documentation.
- Design maintainable, scalable, secure and high-performance application, data, integration and deployment architectures for client and internal projects
- Lead the technical design of AI-enabled applications, enterprise platforms, data solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
- Design and integrate AI agents, Generative AI applications, LLM-based solutions, RAG systems, APIs, databases, search services and enterprise workflows.
- Define system boundaries, software standards, architecture patterns, integration approaches, security controls and non-functional requirements.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through solution prototyping, design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting and implementation guidance.
- Design and support on-premise, cloud, hybrid or restricted-server deployments using modern container, DevOps and infrastructure practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, software engineers, AI specialists, infrastructure teams, security teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks and models, conduct technical experiments, and recommend practical solutions based on performance, security, cost and maintainability.
- Support system integration, testing, performance optimisation, deployment, operational readiness, documentation, knowledge transfer and technical handover.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and research emerging technologies to improve architecture quality, software delivery efficiency and project innovation.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Engineering or a related discipline. A master's degree is an advantage.
- Typically 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, system analysis, solution architecture, system integration or enterprise application development.
- Proven experience designing or leading the technical architecture of business applications, platforms or digital solutions, with strong hands-on delivery capability.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and practical experience in requirements analysis, application architecture, APIs, databases, testing, debugging, documentation, version control and the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java or C#. Strong Python capability is preferred.
- Practical experience with relational or non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or MongoDB.
- Experience designing modern web applications, backend services, distributed systems, integration solutions and role-based enterprise workflows.
- Knowledge of Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring or related deployment and operational practices.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, NLP, machine learning, document intelligence or vector-search technologies.
- Understanding of application security, identity and access management, secure software development, auditability, resilience and architecture governance.
- Experience in government projects, enterprise platforms, on-premise AI solutions or restricted-server deployment environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, cloud architecture, MLOps, DevSecOps or AI governance is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, technically curious and passionate about applying AI, data and software architecture to solve real-world challenges.
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
