Job Description

What you'll do:

  • To provide technical support for R&D projects, focusing on specific aresa such as energy storage materials and biodegradable materials. 
  • To assist in the operation and maintenance of laboratory facilities to deliver testing services to the public. 
  • To support the exploration of new opportunities in the development of green energy and sustainable materials technologies. 
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or above in disciplines such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or related fields. 
  • Passionate about research and development, with a strong interest in hands-on experimentation. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and contribute actively to project goals. 
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, to support communication and documentation. 

 

 

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 12 months.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
