Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Formulate new areas for professional environmental consultancy service, develop and implement environmental research projects, commercialize developed environmental technologies
  • Lead a team to execute ongoing projects with effective risk & opportunity management in accordance with corporate policies
  • Manage research facilities and coordinate technology development activities
  • Develop and implement services promotion strategy and plan to secure projects from various sectors and government funding
  • Identify business opportunities, prepare project proposals and conduct technical presentation to clients
  • Build up and extend network with industry stakeholders for collaboration
  • Manage team performance, develop technical knowhow and competencies of the team

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Master degree or above in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience in consultancy projects in the field of water management / environmental engineering / environmental technology development
  • Experiences in wastewater treatment, food waste recycling preferred but not mandatory,
  • Experience in development, application and implementation of government-funded research projects, and management of research facilities a definite advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, communication, negotiation, leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Good relationship with associations and industries
  • Self-initiative, able to lead team and work under pressure
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Occasional travel to Mainland China may be required
