What you'll do:

  • To build and lead a strong professional team to develop Autonomous Manufacturing Technology and Solutions (i.e., Robotics, AI and integrated Systems, etc.) in Manufacturing and Logistics Industries in line with the Division’s strategy to address market demands and support I&T and New Industrialisation development in Hong Kong.
  • To assist Unit Head on business development, work out and carry out the development roadmap for the business, technology and capability of the team to adaptive the environmental changes for sustainable development.
  • To lead the team to deliver the professional services to achieve the annual goals, financial targets and assigned KPIs 
  • To enhance the collaborations with industries, associations, professional bodies and Government bureaux to explore new business opportunities, identify and engage clients to build up a good reputation and health project's pipeline.
  • To assist Unit Head and General Manger in driving new initiatives and taking ad-hoc tasks, and collaborate closely with other team leads to achieve the goals of the Division

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in disciplines such as Automation, Intelligent System and Control, Mechatronics and Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 years or more relevant working experience.
  • Minimum 7 years solid experience in autonomous manufacturing and logistics solutions development and professional services.
  • Strong industrial networks with technology partners and clients.
  • In-depth understanding of the autonomous manufacturing technologies and intelligent manufacturing. (e.g. Robotics, AI, Integrated IT/OT Systems, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in related project's management and implementation is preferred.
  • Track record in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong Government fundings, business development, R&D projects related to intelligent systems, robotics and automation, etc.
  • Innovative thinking, mature, self-motivated, willing to try and take up challenges, can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
