Job Description

What you'll do 

  • Support the team on the consultancy and government funded projects aimed at fostering and enhancing digital capabilities within various industries. This includes the entire project lifecycle, from proposal planning and implementation to event reporting. Projects may encompass a range of activities such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions, training workshops, focus groups, study missions, and research studies.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners, clients, and vendors to ensure successful execution of events and other collaborative initiatives.
  • Take ownership and maintain regular content updates across multiple online platforms (e.g. project website, social media) and email communication to the target audience.
  • Identifying and curate new projects / initiatives for business development
  • Support Council initiatives and ad hoc projects as required. Occasionally travelling outside Hong Kong and working during the weekend is required


You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in any disciplines with at least 3 years working experience.  Experience working with trade / industry associations / event agencies is absolutely an advantage
  • Strong commitment with positive and results oriented attitude and mindset, sensitive and fast adoption to new emerging technologies, strong business and financial accountability & ownership, excellent interpersonal, time & project management and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and independent, excellent presentation skill, etc.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing) and familiar with mobile social media app; other skills such as desktop design (A.I. / Photoshop/ Canva), video and photo editing, etc. will be an advantage
  • Strong sense of cyber security, accountability and sensitivity to confidentiality of information and office matters
  • Good communication, event management skills and a team player
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
