Job Description

What you'll do:
- Responsible for government-funded R&D projects and consultancy R&D projects implementation including but not limited to intelligent system technologies, smart mobility technologies, hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, smart sensor technologies, smart healthcare technologies and autonomous driving technologies for Smart City
- Assist the supervisor to propose feasible technical solutions for industry needs, to prepare technical proposals for R&D projects, to manage project implementation on schedule and prepare project reports.
- Define and design technical specifications for hardware and software of control systems, perform system schematics, verify system performance, and compile technical documents for project deliverables
- Attend training and perform hands-on program and documentation works such as signal processing, application interface program, AI models for sensors and autonomous vehicle, hydrogen fuel cell technologies, etc.
- Work closely with supervisor to keep track of progress, ensure full compliance of project goals and requirements, and engage in partnership with industry partners and Universities
- Assist in organizing promotional activities related to the projects, such as study missions, presentation on workshops or technical seminars, capability building and exhibition etc.
- Occasional travel to the mainland China when required
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronic/ Information Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline from a recognised university
- Knowledge and 3 years' working experience in any ONE of the following expertise will be a plus:
- Automotive system design, mechanical design, electrical system design, and autonomous driving system design
- IoT devices and/or Information Communication Technology
- Software development and programming experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Image Processing skills
- Microcontroller programming (TI, Infineon, ST, Freescale) in various DSP/MCU and their software tools
- Experience in development of hydrogen and fuel cell related technologies
- Design electronics system for EMI/EMC compatibility
- Power electronics in development of DC/DC converter, DC/AC converter, and smart controller
- Good command of English and Putonghua
