Assistant Officer, Testing & EMC

Job Description

What you'll do (Assistant Officer, Testing & EMC):

  • Responsible for handling testing projects and performing desktop research and literature reviews, including electromagnetic compatibility, wireless and on-site testing for IoT devices and railway applications

  • Good understanding of IoT solutions and various sensor fusion technologies, such as Ultrasonic, LiDAR, ToF, mmWave would be a plus.

  • Prepare and keep proper record of test/ calibration results in clear, detailed and fact descriptive manner

  • Liaise with technical partners or laboratories with drafting test plan, scheduling, risk and other project related issues

  • Take part in development of laboratory's technical capabilities and project proposals

  • Provide support to ad-hoc testing and consultancy projects and assignment

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor degree or above with disciplines such as Electronics/ Electrical/ Automotive/ Mechanical/ Product/ Design Engineering or equivalent
  • Fresh graduate is welcome
  • At least one year of work experience in the related field
  • Good command of English and Putonghua

 

Note:

2. This is a temporary position for a period of 12 months.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
