Job Description

What you'll do:
- Responsible for project implementation including feasibility study, solution development of consultancy and government funded projects about Smart Mobility and Autonomous Driving Technologies
- Design and develop software and firmware solutions in Smart Mobility areas like autonomous driving, autonomous mobile robots, robot arm, etc., opportunities to take training courses before performing the tasks.
- Supervise and lead junior teammates on hands-on tasks including software programming, system design, firmware coding and product testing, etc.
- Liaise with technical solution partners or suppliers for external support.
- Prepare technical documents for the project deliverables, test plans and test reports
- Support the project management and ad hoc tasks when required
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Automotive or equivalent with hands on experience in research and product development work
- 4 years or above working experience in software design for robot system, or machine vision, AI applications, etc.
- Proficiency in Python or any popular program languages such as C/C++/C#/Matlab/GO/Java, etc.
- Experience in Linux based program, or Matlab Simulink, Robotic Operating System (ROS) is an advantage
- Experience in motor control and automation control system
- Good command of English and Putonghua

The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
