What you'll do:

  • Report to the Senior Manager / Manager, Social Intelligence and AI Transformation, and support the development of HKPC's digital communications, social intelligence and AI-enabled communications capabilities.
  • Plan and deliver content across HKPC's social and digital channels, transforming technology, innovation and industry topics into clear, engaging and platform-appropriate communications.
  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled content, workflow and analytics practices that enhance communications effectiveness, productivity and audience engagement.
  • Assist in social listening, audience analysis and issues monitoring, providing insights to support communications planning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with communications, business and specialist teams across HKPC to develop integrated content and communications initiatives that support organisational priorities.
  • Leverage and adapt content assets from across HKPC, including media coverage, leadership communications, projects, events and corporate initiatives, to maximise communications impact across channels.
  • Support content planning, publishing, performance measurement and reporting, using data and audience insights to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Explore, test and refine emerging communications approaches, tools and formats, helping share effective practices and capabilities across the wider team.
  • Contribute to the responsible use of AI and data in communications activities, supported by appropriate governance, accuracy checks and human judgement.
  • Ensure work is delivered efficiently, professionally and to a high standard.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • A recognised degree in communications, journalism, digital media, marketing, multimedia, technology, AI, data analytics or a related discipline.
  • 6 years or above of relevant experience in social media, digital communications, content development, journalism, marketing, technology communications or related fields.
  • Strong content development and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex subjects into clear and engaging communications for different channels and audiences.
  • An interest in emerging communications, AI, digital platforms and audience behaviour, with the curiosity to learn and apply new approaches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify insights and make practical recommendations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from different functions and backgrounds.
  • A proactive, can-do mindset, with a willingness to take ownership, follow through on commitments and continuously improve the quality of work.
  • Openness to feedback, experimentation and continuous learning, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, audience trends and digital communications practices will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI, data analytics, social intelligence, digital platforms or communications technology will be an advantage. Candidates from technology or analytical backgrounds with strong communication skills are welcome.
  • Experience in technology, innovation, research, media, communications, professional services or digital-related environments will be an advantage.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
