What you'll do:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to autonomous driving technology, including feasibility studies and solution development for consultancy and government-funded initiatives in Smart Mobility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software and/or hardware solutions in areas such as autonomous vehicles, intelligent transportation systems, automotive ECUs, robotics controllers, telematics, IoT systems, and wireless connectivity (BLE, UWB, LoRa, WiFi).
  • Supervise and guide technical teams, ensuring successful completion of tasks including software development, hardware design, firmware coding, and product testing.
  • Coordinate with technical partners and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved and technical requirements are met.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, including project deliverables, design specifications, test plans, and test reports.
  • Oversee project management activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and handle ad hoc tasks as necessary.
  • Occasionally travel to mainland China for project-related activities.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with hands-on experience in research and product development.
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management within the electronics or automotive industry, focusing on system design for automotive electronics, IoT systems, or wireless connectivity.
  • Proven experience in managing projects involving hardware PCB design, electrical system design, and application development with microcontrollers or programmable logic controllers.
  • Familiarity with software development, including firmware design using C/C++ or Verilog HDL, VHDL for microcontrollers, is advantageous.
    • Experience in any of the following is an advantage:
    • Government-funded project application and implementation
    • Battery management systems or EV charger systems design and development
      Programming in C++/C, Linux, Python, Matlab Simulink, or Robotic Operating System (ROS)
    • Mechanical/electrical design for robotics applications
    • Mechanical drawing using Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
