Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Utilize artificial intelligence techniques to conduct research and development projects in the automotive field.

  • Lead and supervise junior team members in various hands-on tasks such as system design, data collection, model training, software programming, prototype building and field testing.

  • Collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and customers to drive the development of innovative and forward-thinking AI technologies.

  • Maintain close communication with supervisor to ensure project progress is on track and fulfills all project goals and requirements.

  • Prepare proposals, provide regular updates on project progress, and report any issues in a timely manner.

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic & Information Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent qualification from  a local university or a well-recognized non-local institution.

  • A least 4 years of experience in system design for AI applications, machine vision, or embedded systems.

  • Proficiency in Python or other popular programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Matlab, GO, Java, etc. is required.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one deep learning framework, such as Tensorflow, Caffe, CNTK, PyTorch, etc.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
