Job Description

What you'll do:
- Define and design appropriate management processes or security controls to protect corporate IT systems and data.
- Assist in developing and maintaining cooperative-level IT security policies and procedures
- Perform risk assessment on IT systems or new projects to identify potential security weaknesses and non-compliance issues.
- Work with external IT Security Auditors to conduct and follow up security audits
- Communicate with internal staff and external parties to deliver IT security related services
- Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline with minimum 2 years of work experiences in IT fields
- Hands-on experience in cyber security and/or risk assessment area
- Hands-on experience in management and implementation of system, network and/or security infrastructure and support (e.g. Imperva, EDR/XDR, Palo Alto, Acunetix, Nessus, Websense or Cisco switches)
- Holder of information security professional certificate (such as CISSP, CISA) preferred
- Service-oriented, good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; able to communicate technical issues to both technical and layman stakeholders
- Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
