Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical support for the Government funding programme that encourage and facilitate Hong Kong-owned factories in Hong Kong and Guangdong to adopt cleaner production technologies and practices
  • Support assessment of applications, prepare assessment reports and monitor progress of approved applications
  • Handle administrative work and enquiries, prepare data analysis and reports and committee papers, support and organize promotional activities
  • Occasional travel to Mainland China to perform on-site checking of funded projects required
  • Handle other ad hoc projects or duties

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Environmental Science, Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 4 year’s work experience or above
  • Experience in conducting Government funding project or handling / supporting Government funding scheme is preferred
  • Work experience in HK / Guangdong factory or carrying out factory assessment is also an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal.
