What you'll do:
- Assist the Team Head in managing the government funding programme related to Chinese Medicine Development in Hong Kong.
- Assist in the evaluation of government-funded program applications and contribute to the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Track the progress and review final reports submitted by grantees, provide consultations, and assist in preparing documentation for funding disbursement. Address inquiries and coordinate with grantees and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the digitalization initiatives to improve and maintain the database for the funding program, and assist in providing regular analysis of program progress and achievements.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings of the Advisory Committee, including preparing meeting materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the management.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Chinese Medicine, Science, or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology or Biostatistics would be an advantage.
- Experience with government funding schemes and/or government-funded projects is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Medicine industry, and/or related research is beneficial.
- Demonstrates maturity, self-motivation, and adaptability, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
