Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Perform R&D work on Industrial Automation, Robotics, IoT, Machine Vision & AI Applications
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for government funded projects and consultancy projects
  • Evaluate and apply new technologies for project implementation, including system design, simulation, installation, integration, etc.
  • Assist in organizing and delivering promotional actives related to the projects, such as study missions, workshops, technical seminars, training course, etc
  • Travel outside HongKong occasionally for project implementation
  • Support project management and ad-hoc tasks


You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing engineering or equivalent with 2 years or more relevant experience
  • Experience in any of the following subjects: robotics, automation system development, system integration, system simulation, software programming or product design is a plus
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, communication and troubleshooting skills essential
  • Mature, self-motivated team player, systematic approach with excellence time and project management skills
  • Good command of  English or Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua)

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
